This paper hits close to home as it allowed me to focus on the representation of [Asian] women within two of my favorite animated mediums: film and video games. With the intention of highlighting how hyper sexualized and fetishized women are in video games comparing to how multifaceted women in [Japanese] animation with hopes to push for change regarding this narrative of womanhood.
